When I was in the Peace Corps, I lived in a small town in Liberia, West Africa, without electricity, television, internet or much of any kind of entertainment. In my neighborhood, watching the white man was highly entertaining. It didn't matter if I was reading on my porch, brushing my teeth, or taking a bucket bath in my backyard enclosure. I realized then and there that I never wanted to be famous. I still wouldn't mind rich, but I never want to be famous.
